I looked at both one and two of the clips posted. This state of all American states is in hyper mode in the quest for eternal beauty. The word, as mentioned in clip two, that is always a part of beauty products that promise beauty is "younger." This I realize is just one aspect of the quest for beauty, but here's how the topic of beauty and age formulated in my thoughts.
I connect this search for beauty with the idea of eternal youth, this connected to the thought that many struggle with mortality and thus search for ways to mask it as if the avoid death (delay it).
"Out of sight out of mind..." and thus the "perfect face" on the billboard or in magazine advertisement is the mark of life and health.
Our society also sends the message that as age sets in a person becomes less and less a useful part of society. "Retirement" has a connotation of being put out to pasture for some.
Again this is just my initial thought process on the topic of facial beauty.
